Many years ago (1999), I went to Australia for 3 weeks. In a souvenir shop in Melbourne, I found a little cardboard gizmo with little wheels that turn from the edge to reveal words in little windows, like a foreign language verb conjugator or something like that. Anyway, you select 3 words with the 3 little wheels, then flip it over to see the translation.
Sometime later, when I got home, I wrote a little Java application to do something like that just to learn Java. The words in the dropdowns come from that gizmo.
Now, I'm retired, but I wanted to learn about cross-platform apps (iOS & Android) with React Native, Cordova, and Capacitor, so this is my first attempt. More to come...
